Laboral Cinemateca, since its creation in 2016, has sponsored and collaborated via the Film Commission Principality of Asturias, with various film productions, with the aim of promoting and consolidating the region as the ideal setting for filming, promoting both tourism and culture within the Principality, as wells as the audio-visual industry in the region.

In the case of El secreto de Marrowbone, also known as Marrowbone, the debut film by the asturian director Sergio G. Sánchez, the first full-length film of the Asturian, Samu Fuentes, Bajo la piel de lobo, La Zona, the exclusive new series by Movistar+ created by the brothers Alberto and Jorge Sánchez-Cabezudo, or The Maus, the first full-length film by Yayo Herrero, from Oviedo. Likewise, Turismo Asturias and the Principality’s Film Commission have collaborated with the Cantábrico documentaries. Los dominios del oso pardo by Joaquín Gutiérrez Acha and 100 días de soledad by José Díaz, for which various support initiatives were carried out to disseminate and promote the documentaries.
